Setup Journey
If you are setting up Journey for the first time, it will take you about a minute to complete this process. If you have used Journey before, synchronization will take a few minutes or hours depending on the cloud service provider, your internet connection and the number of entries in your journal.
Step 1: Open the app > tap "Next" > Setup Passcode. To skip the adding of a passcode, tap "Skip".
Step 2: Tap "Link Account" > "Continue" to create your Journey account using Google or Apple sign-in.
Step 3: To add a cloud service in your Journey account, select a cloud service provider i.e. Journey Cloud Sync or Google Drive. If you choose Google Drive, you'll need to sign into your Google Drive account and accept the permission to allow Journey to access your Google Drive in-app data.
Step 3: Select "Use WiFi only" to prevent the phone from using cellular data for synchronization.
Step 4: Journey is ready to synchronize your journal with Cloud service.
Step 1: Launch the app and click on the "Sign In to Continue" button.
Step 2: Select the email address that you would like to log in to Journey with.
Step 3: Click "Next" to sign in. You will need to allow Journey to have permission to access your Google Drive. Once you have successfully logged in to Journey, the app will be ready to download your journal entries from your Google Drive.
Step 3: If you have downloaded the app from our in-store, please kindly purchase the license before continuing to use the app. For paid users, tap "Continue" after the successful activation of your app.
Mac: Open System Settings > Security & Privacy > Allow App Store and Identified Developers.
Linux: Type journey or snap run journey in the command line.
Windows: Open the start menu > Journey. Alternatively, open app in C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\journey\app-<version number>\Journey.exe . E.g. C:\Users\Tommy\AppData\Local\journey\app-2.9.1\Journey.exe

Step 2: Tap "Sign In" to continue. To skip sign in, tap "Later". Select the account that you want to login. To sign in to another account, tap "Use another account". Accept permission to allow Journey to access to your Google Drive in-app data.
Step 3: Journey is ready to synchronize your journal with Google Drive.
Step 1: Go to our website at Journey.Cloud > click on the 'Go To Web App' button > click on the 'Continue' button > create your Journey account using Google or Apple sign-in.
Step 2: To add a cloud service in your Journey account, press "Add a cloud service" > select a cloud service i.e. Journey Cloud Sync or Google Drive. If you choose Google Drive, you'll need to sign into your Google Drive account and accept the permission to allow Journey to access your Google Drive in-app data.
On Android & iOS
Step 1: Open the app > tap "Next" > Setup Passcode. To skip the adding of a passcode, tap "Skip".
