⚠️ Warning! Import at your own risk. Your existing entries may be overwritten. Also, you may have duplicates if you import the same backup multiple times. We are not liable for the failure and incorrect import from other journal platforms.


Journey Cloud Sync

Android

Ensure that the file is saved in the Download folder. To import, go to Settings > Data & Cloud Services > select a Journey Cloud Sync drive > tap Import. Select the file to import and tap OK.


Supported formats:


iOS

Ensure that the file is saved in a local folder. To import, go to Preferences > Data & Cloud Services > select a Journey Cloud Sync drive > tap Import. Select the file to import and tap OK.

Mac Catalyst

Ensure that the file is saved in a local folder. To import, go to Preferences > Data & Cloud Services > select a Journey Cloud Sync drive > tap Import. Select the file to import and tap OK.

Web

Go to web app > settings > cloud > select a Journey Cloud Sync Drive > Import.


Supported formats:


Import from the web is only supported for Journey Cloud Sync. Please do not close the browser window until complete.


Journey Desktop (Mac Windows & Linux)

This feature is coming soon.



Google Drive Sync

Android

Ensure that the file is saved in the Download folder. To import, go to Settings > Data & Cloud Services > select a Google Drive > tap Import. Select the file to import and tap OK.


Supported formats:


iOS

Ensure that the exported file is saved in the Journey folder. To locate the Journey folder, please go to your device's Files application > On My iPhone > Journey.


To import, go to Preferences > Data & Cloud Services > select a Google Drive > tap Import. Select the backup which you would like to import.

Journey Desktop (Mac, Windows & Linux)

Mac Catalyst

To import, select Journey > Preferences > Data & Cloud Services > select a Google Drive > Import > Select the backup which you would like to import.
